Eng-2018 Italy Practical Hunting European Championship
Practical Hunting European Championship 2017 in Toscana - Italy
29 and 30 September 2017 - European Championship of practical hunting at LAJATICO (Italy). Initially scheduled in PEGOGNANA, an episode of bird flu in this region has forced the organizers to urgently move the venue of the European Championship of practical hunting in Tuscany, to LAJATICO. This explains the only weak point of this event, very undulating terrain and poorly adapted to the British breed quest in couple, especially given the height of the event. On the other hand, the excellent organization, the good reception, the good density of game and the level of the Irish Setters in progress were the positive points of this European Championship. Sormas DUSKO (Serbia), together with Danilo SASSARINI (Italy) and Sergio BIANCONI (Italy) with Jean Pierre GOTTI (France), were the two judge teams who alternately judged the 27 Irish Red Setters divided into two batches. 3 nations took part in this championship, 20 dogs represented the Italian team, 4 dogs for France and 3 for Ukraine.
Two dogs managed to rank high on both days. KOCIS BMZ with a CACIT and a 1st EXC wins the title of champion of Europe and BACCO with a CACIT and a third EXC returns with the title of Vice Champion of Europe. Behind these two titles, many dogs have not been unworthy, as BRISA'S IRISHES DAFNE who brilliantly ranks at the Reserve of CACIT and ELVARE MZE EVELINA, a young Ukrainian bitch who ranks in the 2nd EXC having shown us that she had inherited the beautiful looks of his father, KOCIS BMZ. The second day ended with a final barrage between the father and his daughter destined to award the “Prix du Style”. KOCIS 'assurance in his installation on the field and the perfection of the movement of his gallop left no hesitation to the jury to award him this prize.
